G.I. Joe will be a modern telling of the
"G.I. Joe vs. Cobra" storyline and its compelling characters that Hasbro
created 25 years ago. The premise of this fantasy is the story of the
G.I. Joe team, led by Duke, and their "fight for freedom wherever there
is trouble" against the evil Cobra Commander and his Cobra force. This
storyline was an instant hit with kids in the early 1980s, spawning a
highly popular 3-3/4-inch action figure line, comic book collection and
animated series. The G.I. Joe team will not be based in Brussels.
Instead, they will be based out of the "Pit" as they were throughout the
1980s comic book series. And, in keeping with the G.I. Joe vs. Cobra
fantasy, the movie will feature characters and locations from around the
world. Duke, the lead character and head of the G.I. Joe team, will
embody the values of bravery and heroism that the first generation of
G.I. Joe figures established.

father (Nick Nolte), Art begins to believe that perhaps he doesn't even
exist at all.
What begins as a mundane summer is
quickly interrupted when he encounters a beautiful debutante (Sienna
Miller) and her lusty, no good hoodlum of a boyfriend Cleveland (Peter
Sarsgaard). Together they reveal a side of Art and Pittsburgh that he
has never known.
As the summer boils on and their
adventures darken, Art decides to risk everything to preserve his
new-found paradise, and thrusts himself headlong into the blurring
boundaries of family, friendship, and love.

A
charmingly naïve boy from the English village of Wall travels to a
magical, mythical world in search of the falling star that will help him
win the heart of his true love in this fantasy adventure starring
Charlie Cox, Claire Danes, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ricky
Gervais, and Sienna Miller. For hundreds of years the massive
cobblestone barrier that surrounds the sleepy English hamlet of Wall has
kept the citizens of the village safe and secure from the malevolent
supernatural forces that stir just outside its perimeter. When dashing
Tristan Thorne (Charlie Cox) promises the fairest girl in the village,
Victoria (Sienna Miller), that he will prove his love by bestowing her
with a genuine falling star, his daring mission sends him on an
adventure far outside the comfortable confines of Wall.
In order to find the fallen star, Tristan will have to ascend the wall
and venture deep into the forbidden heart of the fantastical realm
known as Stormhold. Upon discovering that the meteorite he sought was in
fact a beautiful girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes), who has stumbled
though space and is now being pursued by the King of Stormhold's (Peter
O'Toole) sons. Tristan vows to protect the otherworldly visitor at all
costs. But the king's sons aren't the only ones in search of the
luminous Yvaine; fearsome witch Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer) has become
convinced that the young girl's power can help her to achieve eternal
youth and beauty.
As Tristan makes his way
through Stormhold on a mission to bring the star back to Wall, he will
encounter a series of spectacular characters and creatures that will
lead him to a fate he never imagined. Layer Cake director Matthew Vaughn
serves as director and co-screenwriter for this tale of witches and
pirates adapted from the novel by fantasy icon Neil Gaiman, who also
produces.
Interview
Sienna Miller: Interview
Cast: Steve Buscemi, Sienna Miller
In
Interview, the beautiful Sienna Miller and actor/director Steve Buscemi
go head-to-head in a sexually charged drama about media, truth, and
celebrity.
Self-destructive journalist Pierre
Peders (Steve Buscemi) is no stranger to violence and inhumanity. Having
made his name as a war reporter, he has traveled the world seeing some
of the most horrifying sights imaginable. So he feels that his current
puff-piece assignment, an interview with pop diva, TV and movie star
Katya (Sienna Miller), is beneath his dignity. The two meet in a
restaurant and, instantly, it's a collision of two worlds-Pierre's
serious political focus and Katya's superficial world of celebrity. But
perhaps all is not as it appears.
When Pierre
is slightly injured in a traffic accident inadvertently caused by
Katya-she's the proverbial girl who causes traffic accidents-they end up
in Katya's spacious loft for a long night of talking, drinking,
sparring, and coming close to a sort of embattled intimacy.
Each is scarred in their own way, aching from deep, hidden pain. But
honest revelations give way to punishing deceptions. Their confrontation
evolves into a passionate verbal chess game spiked with wit, intrigue
and sexual tension, capped with a riveting twist ending.
Factory Girl
Sienna Miller: Factory Girl
Cast: Sienna Miller, Hayden Christensen, Guy Pearce, Mena Suvari, Jimmy Fallon
The
true story of one woman's brief and ultimately tragic flirtation with
fame in the 1960s provides the basis for this biographical drama. In
1943, Edie Sedgwick (Sienna Miller) was born to a wealthy and socially
prominent family, and she grew up with beauty and money, but also a
history of mental illness; she was hospitalized with an eating disorder
in her late teens, and by the time she was 21, two of her seven siblings
had died before their time. In 1964, Edie moved to New York City, and
quickly made a splash on the Manhattan social scene; she became friendly
with the famous pop artist Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce), who was fascinated
by her gamine loveliness and her quirky personality.
Warhol wasted no time in casting her in one of his underground movies,
and she quickly became a crucial part of his retinue of "superstars."
Fashion icon Diana Vreeland (Illeana Douglas) was convinced Edie had the
looks and charm to also become a successful model, and soon she was
gracing the pages of Life, Vogue, and Glamour. But Edie's instability
was hardly helped by her new fast-lane lifestyle, and when she met Billy
Quinn (Hayden Christensen), a folk rock singer-songwriter often cited
as "the voice of a generation," he persuaded her that Warhol and his
associates were simply using her fame and beauty for their own gain, and
she found herself torn between two powerful mentors, one of whom had
become her lover as well. Factory Girl also co-stars Jimmy Fallon, Mena
Suvari, and Tara Summers as regulars at the Warhol "Factory." The
character of Musician was inspired in part by Bob Dylan, who was
romantically involved with Edie Sedgwick for a brief time.
Casanova
Sienna Miller: Casanova
Cast: Heath Ledger, Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons, Oliver Platt, Lena Olin, Natalie Dormer
For
the first time in his life, the legendary Casanova is about to meet his
match with an alluring Venetian beauty, Francesca (Sienna Miller), who
does the one thing he never thought possible: refuse him. Through a
series of clever disguises and scheming ruses, he manages to get ever
closer to Francesca. But he is playing the most dangerous game he has
ever encountered ? one that will risk not only his life and reputation,
but his only chance at true passion.
Alfie
Sienna Miller: Alfie
Cast: Jude Law, Marisa Tomei, Omar Epps, Nia Long, Jane Krakowski, Sienna Miller, Susan Sarandon
This
remake of Lewis Gilbert's 1966 film of the same name features Jude Law
filling the shoes Michael Caine once wore in the title role of Alfie. As
with the original, Law occasionally speaks directly to the camera while
his character talks of the opposite sex. Under the direction of Charles
Shyer, Alfie follows a charming, if morally lacking, womanizer from one
bed to the next. While his actions arise more from nonchalance than
malice, Alfie nonetheless faces a moral dilemma when considering that
he's impregnated one of his latest girlfriends. Alfie also includes
performances from Marisa Tomei, Susan Sarandon, and Nia Long.
Layer Cake
Sienna Miller: Layer Cake
Cast: Daniel Craig, Sienna Miller, Colm Meaney, Kenneth Cranham, George Harris, Jamie Foreman, Michael Gambon
The
film centers on a cocaine distributor played by Daniel Craig. The
character, who also narrates the film, is deliberately unnamed
throughout, but is listed in the credits as "XXXX". XXXX has established
a successful business in London buying, cutting and selling cocaine
while avoiding the largesse and gangster behaviour associated with drug
dealing. Having made his fortune, he secretly plans to retire from the
business for good.
XXXX's boss, Jimmy Price
(Kenneth Cranham) sends him to track down Charlie, the teenage daughter
of Price's associate, Eddie Temple (Michael Gambon), who has fled a
rehabilitation centre with her drug-addicted boyfriend. In reality, XXXX
is being sent to kidnap Charlie to help Jimmy blackmail Temple over a
bad investment.
At the same time, Price
instructs XXXX to organise the purchase and distribution of one million
ecstasy tablets from a gangster named The Duke (Jamie Foreman).
Unbeknownst to XXXX, the pills have been stolen from a gang of Serbian
war criminals. Jimmy has found out about XXXX's plans to retire, and
believes that either the Serbian gang or Eddie Temple's mercenaries will
kill XXXX, allowing him to recover some of his losses.
XXXX's world gradually unravels as he discovers Jimmy Price is
informing for the police; XXXX's associate, Morty (George Harris) goes
into hiding after brutally beating a former associate in front of a
restaurant full of people; the Duke and his gang mysteriously disappear;
and the ruthless Eddie Temple involves himself in the already bungled
ecstasy deal.
XXXX devises an elaborate scam to
play his various adversaries off against one another, and ends up in the
clear with both the money and the drugs, and most of his enemies dead.
He sticks to his original plan to retire, but as he leaves a celebratory
lunch with his associates, he is shot on the front steps of the country
house restaurant by The Duke's nephew, Sidney (Ben Whishaw), in revenge
for stealing his girlfriend, Tammy (Sienna Miller). The film ends with
XXXX left lying bleeding on the steps, his fate unknown.
