How do two of the straightest undercover cops in L.A. find themselves on a sex fantasy island where the secret of keeping their cover is to uncover more than the truth? Let's get right to the point. This movie is not for the easily embarrassed and definitely not for children. Those who are seriously into the scene might find this movie a little tame, with only a couple of real scenes and "bondage" that can easily be escaped from. But the curious will find it a safe and unthreatening introduction to a very real and viable lifestyle.
The film garnered attention during its release because of the BDSM themes, full frontal female nudity (Dana Delany), and because of the high profiles of the director, cast members, and the author. Promotional materials for the film included photos of Delany in dominatrix attire.
