Serial killer Charles Lee Ray, the Lakeshore Strangler nicknamed "Chucky," used voodoo to transfer his soul into a child's doll after being mortally wounded by police. Chucky searches for a new human victim to posses, but when Chucky's attempts repeatedly fail, his rage is too much to contain.
