Synopsis: Bethany (AnnaSophia Robb), a young surfer, endures a horrific shark attack while surfing. After rushing to the hospital with her parents (Helen Hunt and Dennis Quaid) by her side, they receive the devastating news that Bethany will lose her entire arm. Despite losing her arm, Bethany, is determined to get back on her board and once again compete in surfing.
